中国比亚迪计划五月在河内开设工厂，首批将销售轿车和SUV。其SUV比亚迪Atto 3备受欢迎，在瑞典和泰国市场需求强劲，拥有60.48千瓦时电池，续航里程480公里，泰国售价起步为30,750美元。
公司正在泰国建设5.04亿美元工厂，预计今年开始生产，越南将从中国进口汽车，未来可从泰国进口，享受东南亚国家零进口税。比亚迪去年全球销量162万辆，仅次于特斯拉。
