Indonesia establishes partnership with Malaysia

Indonesia pursues a strong partnership with Malaysia, with key areas of cooperation including trade, tourism and clean energy.

Indonesia’s Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Eric Tohir said the strengthened alliance is expected to create new opportunities in global business dynamics. The two countries are discussing proposals to launch cruise operations, and Eric said: “Indonesia has many attractions suitable as a cruise destination. By cooperating to establish attractive routes, we can increase the number of cruise days and thus promote tourism development.”

He also pointed out that the two countries need to strengthen cooperation, establish regional partnerships, and jointly promote cooperation in various growth areas.
