Acura’s first ZDX electric car launched in four U.S. versions

Honda’s Acura brand today began deliveries of its new all-electric SUV ZDX and performance-oriented ZDX Type S. Both vehicles are built on GM’s Ultium platform and feature North American Ultium Cells lithium-ion batteries.

The Acura ZDX model has a maximum power of 340 horsepower and a cruising range of more than 500 kilometers. The Type S model has a total power of 500 horsepower and a cruising range of 450 kilometers. The interior uses an 11.3-inch central control screen and systems such as Google Assistant and Google Maps. Equipped with front and rear emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, etc., the starting price is about US$57,900, and customers can receive government support of up to US$7,500.
