Korean businesskorea reports that during CES2024 in the United States in January next year, Korean exhibitors will surpass China. Behind this phenomenon, there may be a comprehensive competition between Korean and Chinese companies in the fields of home appliances and automotive solutions.

According to industry insiders on November 19, the number of Korean companies participating in CES 2024 in January next year exceeds 500, surpassing Japan (50-60 companies) and China (400-450 companies). Major domestic companies such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, and Hyundai Motor will all appear and set up their own showrooms.

At CES 2024, Japanese and Chinese companies have chosen to make breakthroughs by launching new products. Sony Japan is expected to showcase Afeela, a prototype electric vehicle solution developed in partnership with Honda. Sharp is also expected to demonstrate audio solutions. In China, Hisense plans to launch 100-inch-plus mini-LED TVs, while TCL is preparing to showcase rolling panels and other display solutions.
