Edotco will provide 5G connectivity to 500 towers in 2023

Edotco Group announced that its existing 500 4G towers are now 5G connected to meet future technology needs, supporting the government’s goal of achieving 80% 5G coverage in densely populated areas across the country.

Edotco chief executive officer Adlan Tajudin said this reflects their commitment to shaping the future of telecommunications through collaboration and solutions. He pointed out that the 500-tower 5G connection marks Edotco’s commitment to connectivity, economic growth and innovation, providing a solid foundation for the country’s digital transformation.

Founded in 2012, Edotco operates more than 58,000 towers in nine countries in Asia and plays a key role in Malaysia’s 5G infrastructure expansion.
