Korean media reported that on November 29, Hanwha Life Insurance established a “digital family center” in Indonesia for local women and children. The center is located within the Jakarta Child Protection and Population Control Authority (PPAPP) building and spans two floors. It includes an online counseling center with professional counselors offering personal counseling via video app, a studio for creating and broadcasting podcast content, a multi-purpose community space for mental health, coding and local community projects, and a Children’s room for children playing and education.

The Digital Family Center will serve as a control tower overseeing approximately 320 local children’s centers in Jakarta. It plans to work with Save the Children on spiritual care projects and community activities for women and children, with a focus on improving welfare. Next year, the Digital Family Center plans to set up online consultation kiosks at linked local children’s centers to support more women and children to receive psychological counseling.
