Huawei’s Luxeed S9 electric vehicle, developed in collaboration with Chery, is being tested on the road in China. As the second model in the Luxeed series, the S9 is expected to be launched in the Chinese market in the second quarter of 2024.

The S9 is powered by a Huawei electric motor with a power of 215 kW (292 hp). Three battery options are available: 62kWh LFP, 82kWh M3P, and 100kWh NMC. The S9 features LED headlights, a LiDAR sensor, and a sleek exterior design. The interior is similar to that of the S7, with a large touchscreen, LCD instrument panel, and Face ID sensor.

It is expected to be priced at about VND 915 million, competing with the Tesla Model Y in the Chinese market.
