According to TrendForce’s research, SK hynix surpassed Samsung Electronics to become the world’s largest server DRAM vendor in Q3 2023 due to the significant increase in the penetration rate of industrial-grade server DDR5.
SK hynix’s server DRAM sales in the quarter reached $1.85 billion, with a market share of 49.6%。三星电子以13.13亿美元的销售额和35.2% in sales and a market share of 35.2, and Micron Technology ranked third with $560 million in sales and a market share of 15.0%.
This marks SK hynix’s leading position in the server DRAM market, thanks in part to the successful penetration of its DDR5 technology.
