Microsoft’s accessibility app Seeing AI is now available on Android, providing a text-to-speech experience for the visually impaired.

The user points the camera at an object or document and the application provides an audio description. Initially limited to iOS, it is now expanded to Android and is available as a free download via Google Play. Seeing AI works with low-visibility text, surrounding environments, etc., using artificial intelligence to provide visual information.

Microsoft highlights its expanded help, with the app allowing scanning of documents, currency, handwritten text, colors and more, offering comprehensive support for the visually challenged.

The launch of Seeing AI fills the gap in the needs of Android users and is committed to making artificial intelligence assistance functions more widely available.
