Converge to build first AI contact center in Philippines

Converge ICT Solutions will build the first contact centers powered by Salesforce’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the Philippines, scheduled to be operational in the second half of 2024.

The contact center will use Salesforce’s Einstein and Einstein 1 platforms to increase customer service team productivity, with bots responding to simple requests and quick replies to resolve common issues.

Converge’s COO says the company is investing in generative artificial intelligence to keep up with the industry’s shift toward automation, a move that signals awareness of the technology’s potential applications in customer interactions.
