Open access to startup capital through the Startup4Industry Investment Summit

Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) actively promotes the development of tech start-ups, launching the Startup4Industry program since 2018, attracting the participation of 2,036 start-ups, of which 1,136 participated in the technology competition.

According to the Ministry of Industry, the plan is part of the government’s strategy to build an ecosystem of technology solutions that focuses on the financial support needed for the sustainable development of start-ups, with the aim of attracting investment to boost Indonesia’s economic growth.

The recent investment summit brought together 27 venture capital firms and 82 start-ups, highlighting the economic value and sustainability of business strategies.

The Ministry of Industry has signed MoU with a number of venture capital firms, while providing support in the legal and IoT fields to strengthen the development of start-ups in Indonesia.
