Acer reduces greenhouse gas emissions with “green” laptops

Acer Aspire Vero laptops meet global emission reduction standards and contribute to the environment with “Conscious Technology”.

Chief Operating Officer Jerry Kao said that the product is designed with the future in mind, and the company participates in the RE100 initiative, committing to 100% renewable electricity by 2035 and zero net emissions by 2050.

Aspire Vero 16 is made from over 60% recycled plastic and contains no volatile organic compounds. The touchpad is made from recycled ocean plastic and is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor and AI Boost. AcerSense battery management software implements four modes and uses standard screws for easy removal, repair and recycling. Carbon reduction measures include recycled materials, 100% recyclable packaging and biofuel transportation.
