Marcos received an investment worth 14.5 billion pesos from Japan

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Marcos received an investment of 14.5 billion pesos during his trip to Japan, with the new agreement and commitment to create 15,750 jobs.

These investments span sectors such as semiconductors, healthcare, infrastructure and agriculture, involving more than 20 companies, including BCDA, JOIN, Ibiden, Japan Avionics and others. The investment is expected to boost the economic growth of the Philippines and Japan.

The Office of the President also announced the signing of nine new memoranda of understanding with Japan to promote cooperation between the two countries. (Source: gmanetwork Image source: freepik)
