The Asus ROG Phone 8 will be released at CES 2024 on January 16, 2024, with possible regular, Pro, and Ultimate versions. ROG Global’s official Weibo post posted a confirmation announcement, but did not disclose the specs or price.

The leak shows that the design of the Pro version is similar to that of the regular version, but the rear camera has become square. The ROG Phone 8 will have a punch-hole camera on the front, reducing the top and bottom bezels for an immersive gaming experience. Compared to the ROG Phone 7 series, the ROG Phone 8 will be the first to offer a wider screen.

The Pro version comes with a 50 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide angle, a 32 MP lens with 3x optical zoom and a 32 MP front camera. There is no information on the regular ROG Phone 8 camera settings yet.

Both will come with a protective case and an AeroActive Cooler X external cooler that can be used as a phone holder.
