The Humane AI Pin is designed to be a screen-less wearable replacement for smartphones and is scheduled to begin shipping in March. The device, priced at $699, was launched by Humane founders and former Apple employees Bethany Bongiorno and Imran Chaudhri.

Humane AI Pin does not contain a screen and relies on voice prompts and a projector to send information to the user’s hand. It emphasizes privacy and contextual intelligence, promising to “quickly understand needs and connect to the right AI experience or service.” The AI Pin is based on a Snapdragon processor and supports Qualcomm AI engine and Cosmos OS software.

The device is available in three colors, two of which cost an additional $100. Additional $24 per month is required to access cellular data. Humane also partners with OpenAI, Microsoft and Tidal to provide access to powerful artificial intelligence models and platforms.
