Since the launch of ChatGPT, Microsoft has established a close partnership with OpenAI to incorporate artificial intelligence into the Edge browser, calling it an “AI browser.” Microsoft is committed to competing with Google Chrome and Bing search engines by integrating artificial intelligence technology to provide a more powerful experience.

Microsoft calls the Edge browser an “AI browser” to capitalize on the artificial intelligence craze in an attempt to attract more users. This change does not actually modify the Edge browser, but only emphasizes its artificial intelligence features, which Microsoft hopes will become one of the reasons why users choose Edge. Edge’s AI browser tabs are part of Microsoft’s broader use of artificial intelligence technology in the browser.
