LG has launched an ultra-high-capacity smart WashCombo washer/dryer sold in the U.S., equipped with a direct-drive motor and inverter heat pump technology.
With maximum capacity and short two-hour cycles, the washer-dryer is suitable for washing large fabrics and increases energy efficiency. Featuring an LCD digital dial and more than 20 cycle options, it can be operated remotely via an app or voice command, and uses LG’s SmartThinQ technology to adjust the optimal cleaning cycle through artificial intelligence to assess the fabric, dirt level, and load size.
The current retail price is $2,999, and the direct-drive motor is backed by a 10-year LG warranty.
