McDonald’s Malaysia plans to open 750 new restaurants by 2030

McDonald’s Malaysia plans to open 750 restaurants nationwide by 2030 and create various jobs. There are currently 370 restaurants, with 32 new ones opening last year.

McDonald’s will look for new store opportunities outside of the city to facilitate access to customers and provide broader employment opportunities in the community. Each new restaurant will create between 50 and 100 jobs for local residents and will also create opportunities to learn Xi new skills.

Despite the boycott, McDonald’s Malaysia will continue to help those in need through community activities. The company has donated RM120,000 back-to-school kits to 800 primary school students from underprivileged families in Negeri Sembilan and RM110,000 to the Islamic Council.
