GAC Aion electric vehicle landed in Malaysia

WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chen Sing Group, has signed a distribution and service agreement with GAC Aion to sell, distribute and service GAC Aion’s electric vehicles and spare parts in Malaysia.

The partnership agreement provides an opportunity for both parties to explore the expansion of their business in the automotive industry in Malaysia. WTCA is committed to meeting diverse customer needs, emphasizing a wider range of products and efficient service quality, in line with the company’s economic, environmental, social and governance (EESG) principles. WTCA plans to launch its first EV in the first half of 2024, working closely with GAC Aion to enter Malaysia’s growing EV market.

GAC Aion is the electric vehicle division of Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), with production and sales exceeding 480,000 units in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 77%.
