Samsung’s latest Galaxy S24 series features Corning’s latest Gorilla Armor armor, which is made from 25% pre-consumer recycled materials, unlike other materials.

Corning claims that the armor offers excellent durability and visual clarity, reducing reflections by 75 percent and enhancing screen readability. Compared to aluminosilicate protective glass, Gorilla Armor showed excellent results in testing.

In addition, Corning has developed the Scratch Bot Lab test to monitor micro-scratches caused by daily wear, claiming that Gorilla Armor is up to 4x more scratch resistant. This marks an important technological advancement in Corning’s more than 50-year partnership with Samsung.
