Samsung plans to apply Galaxy AI to nearly 100 million Galaxy devices by 2024, with the Galaxy S24 series being the first beneficiaries.
Galaxy AI brings Circle to Search functionality to the S24 series, allowing users to search for content by drawing a circle on the screen, working with Google to provide a seamless search experience.
In addition, Galaxy AI also provides real-time translation of calls and conversations, speech-to-text, and one-click photo editing.
TM Roh, president and head of Samsung MX (Mobile Experience), said that charging users for AI functions is not currently considered, and users can enjoy these functions for free until at least 2025. However, the concept of subscribing to mobile phone features may be considered in the future, and it remains to be seen whether there will be charges for features that run on the device.
