Ford and Lincoln introduced new infotainment systems, and the Nautilus model features a 48-inch panoramic display that spans the dashboard to provide key information. The system is based on Android Automotive, called Ford Digital Experience, with support for Apple CarPlay and built-in Amazon Alexa, and plans to join a video conferencing app.

The system is designed with enhanced processing power, optimized graphics, expanded memory and storage, and supports 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities. Ford emphasizes entertainment features, including services like Spotify, Amazon Music, Audible, and iHeartRadio, but has similar features to competitors who use Google’s software.

The new system will be used in the Nautilus for the first time and is expected to be extended to other models. Ford plans to implement system updates and new application integrations through more in-house software development.
