Filinvest Group plans to expand its solar power projects in the Philippine Veterans Investment and Development Corporation (Phividec) Industrial Park.

FDC Green Energy Corp. has expanded its capacity to 19.78 MW from the previous 11.5 MW and will install more than 34,000 solar panels to generate 30,450 MWh of clean energy per year. The project is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 21,000 tonnes per year, helping to mitigate Phividec’s environmental impact.

Juan Eugenio Roxas, President and CEO of FDC Utilities Inc., said the expansion project is in line with Filinvest Group’s purpose to support the dreams of Filipino communities through energy security.

FDCGEC is a subsidiary of FDC Utilities Inc., the power division of the Filinvest Group.
