HMD phones and personal electronic devices will replace Nokia

HMD will sell audio equipment, tablets and mobile phones under the new brand “Human Mobile Devices” instead of the Nokia brand.

The company has said it will continue to produce future successors to Nokia phones, but has now redirected its website to hmd.com. Future products may include “historical classic” phones, such as an updated version of the 3310.

Although it will be launched under a new brand, HMD will still emphasize that it is “the maker of Nokia phones” and maintain its commitment to Nokia values such as power, reliability and ease of repair.
