Globe Telecom partners with the British Embassy to combat digital threats in the Philippines. Globe emphasizes the importance of technological advancement, talent development, cybersecurity solutions and educational activities.
The British Ambassador stressed that cybersecurity must be a top priority for the UK and the Philippines to ensure the safety of citizens and promote economic prosperity. The UK plans to invest £13 million through the Cyber Initiative to support the Philippines’ cyber security capabilities.
A recent cybersecurity reception highlighted the urgent need to strengthen cybersecurity measures, with government officials, industry leaders and experts sharing insights and working toward a more secure digital environment.
