Huawei is working on a tri-fold foldable phone, which is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2024. The phone comes in a Z-shaped or S-folded design with a screen size of about 6.4 inches.
According to reports, BOE will provide panels, and Zhaoli and Fortune companies will participate in hinge production. Huawei has been working on tri-fold screen technology for some time, and it is expected that the device is close to mass production.
As demand for foldable phones grows, analysts expect shipments to rise 12.3% to 17.7 million units in 2024.
