International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that shipments of artificial intelligence PCs will increase from nearly 50 million units to more than 167 million units in 2027, accounting for nearly 60% of global PC shipments.
The rise of AI PC is mainly driven by three reasons: improving performance, enhancing privacy and security, and reducing costs.
Types of AI PCs include hardware-enabled AI PCs, next-generation artificial intelligence computers, and advanced AI PCs. Among them, hardware-enabled PCs are expected to grow rapidly, and the next generation of AI PCs will dominate the market.
