Lanxin Venture Capital plans to set up fund to boost Malaysia’s semiconductor industry

Economy Minister Rafizi welcomed Lanxin Venture Partners’ proposal to establish a dedicated fund to promote technology and value in the semiconductor industry.

Rafizi said that this move will help solve the shortage of high-value projects in Malaysia and encourage more venture capital to cooperate with Malaysian entrepreneurs. He recognized the uniqueness of Lanxin Ventures in the semiconductor field and said he would mobilize resources to support this initiative.

In addition, Rafizi had a more than 2-hour exchange with the Lanxin Venture Capital delegation to discuss the issue of improving the value chain of Malaysia’s semiconductor industry. Members of the delegation include Datuk Dr. Chen Tahuai, Senior Consultant Limited Partner, and others.
