Starting March 1, these Sony TVs will no longer support Netflix ​

Starting March 1, some smart TVs, Blu-ray players, and home theater systems will no longer run Netflix. These devices are affected.

Netflix has announced that some Sony TVs and Blu-ray Disc players will no longer support the streaming provider’s app. The reason for this, as announced by the company, is technical limitations. Devices from 2011 to 2013 are affected.

Additionally, some of Sony’s Blu-ray players and home theater systems will no longer support Netflix starting in March. Here is the complete list:

Netflix last shut down its app on older devices in mid-October 2023. Samsung’s Blu-ray players are affected, as are smart TVs from Sony, Panasonic and Hitachi, as well as the Sony PlayStation Vita and PlayStation TV. In 2019, Netflix was removed from a large number of older devices.
