Xero launches ‘Just Ask Xero’ artificial intelligence chatbot

Xero, a New Zealand-based technology company, has launched “Just Ask Xero,” an AI chatbot for accounting tasks that can generate invoices, pay bills and edit quotes, as well as predict tasks and provide insights.

Xero plans to integrate artificial intelligence assistants into the experience to simplify onboarding and troubleshooting. The company has also embedded GenAI tools in Xero Central to provide the answers customers need. Early testing shows that Xero’s customer search times have been reduced by 40%, and search sessions requiring additional customer service support have been reduced by approximately 20%. ​

The company has long-standing and proven experience with artificial intelligence powering many products. A beta version of “Just Ask Xero” will go live later this year.
