Pi Data Center secures RM253.5 million for Cyberjaya data center

Pi Data Center Sdn Bhd (PiDC) has secured RM253.5 million in Tawarruq asset financing from Bank Negara Malaysia for the development of a tier 3 data center in Cyberjaya, Selangor.

Roni Abdulwahab, CEO of Development Bank, said that this move is in line with Malaysia’s digital transformation strategy and will promote economic growth and enhance the country’s competitiveness.

PiDC CEO Ong Chin Seong emphasized sustainability and talent development and expressed his willingness to contribute to digital transformation through innovation and collaboration. The PiDC program achieves LEED Silver and GreenRe Gold certification while providing students with industry training to promote innovation in the digital field.
