Apple to open new store in Shanghai despite falling iPhone sales in China

Apple plans to open its eighth store in Shanghai to expand its retail network in China. Although iPhone sales have slowed, China remains an important market with the world’s largest smartphone consumer base.

The new store in Shanghai is part of Apple’s expansion plan, which heralds Apple’s efforts to revive its retail business through new stores and renovated stores. According to reports, Apple plans to open dozens of new, relocated or renovated stores in China in the next few years.
