Xiaomi held a board meeting at its electric car factory, where directors visited the factory and test-drove the Xiaomi SU7. Lei Jun shared factory photos on Weibo, raising people’s expectations for SU7.
SU7 will be officially released on March 28 and is expected to be displayed in some stores in 29 cities in China. Although the price has not yet been determined, it is estimated to be comparable to the Tesla Model 3.
The SU7’s large size may attract more consumers, but price and specifications will be key factors. Xiaomi’s brand awareness and technological prowess may help it succeed.
