Czech delegation explores potential cooperation with Philippines

Czech Agriculture Minister Marek Vyborny led a 40-member business delegation to visit the Philippines, aiming to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture, food, labor, water management and forestry.

The Czech delegation, which includes several companies, plans to participate in the business forum and explore cooperation opportunities. Mr. Viboni said the Czech Republic is a leader in animal production, dairy products, beer and other fields and hopes to cooperate with the Philippines.

The two countries are expected to sign a letter of intent for cooperation covering multiple areas. Last year, the total trade volume between the two countries reached US$1.14 billion.
