The Lexus RZ made its debut in Malaysia at Toyota’s Zero Carbon Future event, showcasing Toyota’s multi-lane mobility strategy in terms of carbon neutrality. Models include HEV, FCEV, hydrogen combustion and BEV.
The RZ 450e is equipped with a 71.4 kWh battery with a cruising range of 440 km and supports 11 kW AC charging and 150 kW DC fast charging. The motor outputs 313 PS, accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 5.3 seconds, and has a top speed of 160 km/h.
The interior is equipped with a 14.1-inch touch screen, 8-inch digital instrument, super-suede seats, wireless charging and USB-C charging interface. Safety System+ provides full-speed adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking, lane following assist and side blind spot warning and other functions.
Malaysian pricing has not yet been announced.
