OpenAI recently launched an updated GPT-4 Turbo version, which was previously available to developers and is now extended to ChatGPT Plus, Team and Enterprise subscribers. This version shows improvements in multiple areas, including writing, math, logical reasoning, and coding.
According to CEO Sam Altman, the new version is more intelligent and has an updated knowledge base. OpenAI is backed by Microsoft with an investment of A$15.45 billion.
Despite its popularity, ChatGPT has also come under fire from European data privacy laws, with Italian regulators warning it could impact younger users and requiring users to meet age requirements and obtain guardian permission.
