PlayStation 5 Pro is developed based on Trinity code, with a 45% improvement in GPU performance and a CPU frequency of 3.85GHz, which is 10% faster than PS5. The memory speed has been increased from 448GB/s to 576GB/s, a nearly 30% increase in speed, allowing PS5 Pro to better support ray tracing and provide higher graphics capabilities.
Added PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), similar to NVIDIA’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR, to improve graphics quality. Although there are rumors that the PS5 Pro could launch this year, Sony has yet to confirm it.
PS5 sales did not meet expectations. PS5 Pro may help increase sales. Specific details and release date have not yet been confirmed, but they are highly anticipated.
