Acer plans to launch a new lifestyle product line, which is expected to be released in Sydney on March 6.
It is understood that the new brand may be called Acerpure and includes home appliances such as air purifiers. Acer has experience selling home appliances overseas and has a number of products in Asia.
The Acerpure series includes vacuum cleaners and air purifiers, such as the V1 Lite, a portable vacuum cleaner with USB-C charging, priced at about $239.
In addition, the range includes C2 air purifiers and mixers with air circulation, as well as stand-alone air purifiers and circulators.
