Ring’s battery-powered Video Doorbell Pro is designed similarly to the wired Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2, and introduces radar-based 3D motion detection that allows users to select the exact area of detection, reducing unnecessary alerts. A new bird’s eye view function has been added to show the direction of movement.
The video is upgraded to 1536p, and new low-light sensing technology is used to shoot color videos at night. A Ring Protect subscription is required to get video cloud storage and people detection capabilities. Priced at £199.99, it will be available from March 20, 2024.
