Investment worth US$1.53 billion completed between Philippines and Australia

Philippine Trade Minister Pascual announced during the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit that the Philippines and Australia signed investment agreements totaling US$1.53 billion, covering multiple fields.

These agreements will advance investment relations between the two countries and boost Philippine economic growth. These include cooperation in areas such as renewable energy, waste-to-energy technology, and digital health services.

Pascual said these agreements laid the foundation for future business exchanges between the Philippines and Australia, expressed his gratitude to the business leaders and emphasized the spirit of cooperation between the two parties.

Philippine President Marcos also stated at the forum that the Philippines is a reliable partner and invites Australian companies to strengthen cooperation and jointly achieve expansion goals.
