Meizu announces its withdrawal from the smartphone industry and launches its last “blockbuster product” 21 Pro

Chinese technology company Meizu has announced it is abandoning “regular” smartphones to focus on investing in artificial intelligence. However, the company has launched the Pro version of the current Meizu 21 Android smartphone.

The Meizu 21 Pro is an Android smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a nearly bezel-less 2K+ display, and up to 1TB of storage. Although Meizu announced that it would abandon regular smartphones, it launched the 21 Pro version.

The machine has a modern and simple design, with a thickness of only 7.9 mm and a width of only 74 mm, making it easier to operate with one hand. It has a 5050mAh battery and supports up to 80W USB-C charging and 50W wireless charging. It has a 6.79-inch 2K+ flat screen on the front, 4 cameras on the rear, and is equipped with Circle to Search and RealLive Translate functions. The price starts at 4,999 yuan, with the highest version priced at 5,899 yuan.
