In 2023, Kaspersky detected and blocked 33.8 million mobile attacks, a 50% increase from the previous year. Adware was the most common threat at 40.8%, while banking Trojans decreased to 153,682.

Criminals spread threats through official and unofficial app stores, many of which make their way to Google Play. Popular attacks in 2023 include fake investment applications and malicious mods on WhatsApp and Telegram.

This growth reminds us of the need to remain vigilant and take strong security measures to combat the rise in cyber threats.
