NVIDIA faces a new round of artificial intelligence copyright litigation, similar to OpenAI’s ChatGPT case. The book authors accuse NVIDIA’s NeMo platform of illegally using data for training and using their work without authorization.

The plaintiffs, including Abdi Nazemian, Stewart O’Nan and Brian Keene, seek damages and the destruction of data sets used for training. NVIDIA was accused of copying the work without authorization and continuing to distribute the artificial intelligence model NeMo.

The lawsuit is related to NVIDIA’s rise in the field of artificial intelligence. The chips developed by the company are used in technology deployment by many companies.
