FedEx successfully used electric vehicles to perform the first zero-emission cross-border parcel delivery from Malaysia to Singapore, with a total mileage of 406 kilometers. This milestone was recognized as the “first zero-emission cross-border delivery”.

The company said the trial is a proof-of-concept for the effectiveness of future cross-border pickup and delivery operations and will be used to advance its fleet electrification plans. The move is aimed at improving efficiency, protecting the environment and providing better service to customers.

The company also launched a cloud-based carbon emissions reporting tool to help customers understand historical emissions information for shipments.
