Samsung SmartThings expands partnership with Philips Hue

American home automation company and Samsung subsidiary SmartThings announced an expanded partnership with Philips Hue to enhance the home automation experience.

The partnership promotes exclusive updates and better control of the Philips Hue Sync TV app through SmartThings, allowing users to adjust light brightness, switch modes, and sync lights on supported Samsung QLED TVs. This collaboration will also be expanded to other countries around the world. Philips Hue has also launched a monthly subscription option.

Samsung launched a series of smart home appliances powered by artificial intelligence features at CES 2024, including washing machines, dryers, slide-in stoves and refrigerators.
