Philippines, Czech Republic strengthen agricultural cooperation

The Philippines and the Czech Republic are studying agricultural cooperation, focusing on livestock farming, dairy production and water resources management, to enhance bilateral trade and technology exchanges.

Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel met with the Czech delegation to discuss the possibility of expanding Philippine agricultural products in the EU market. Tiu Laurel expressed interest in Czech progress in dairy and water management and plans to learn from its experience.

The Czech Republic has expressed its willingness to provide support such as trade negotiations and agricultural training to promote bilateral cooperation.
