Nissan design chief Alfonso Albaza proposed the concept at the New York Auto Show that the windshield will become the focus of digital interaction in the future, redefining the automotive experience.

He believes the trend toward more screens will be replaced by digital interfaces on the windshield. This vision is supported by industry exploration, but practical application faces challenges such as safety standards and cost efficiency.

Nissan’s stance reflects the auto industry’s skepticism about future technology, as it faces competitive pressure from technology giants that make meeting consumer expectations more complicated.
