Leica announced the launch of Leitz Phone 3, equipped with three major sensors and a new camera color simulation mode, but it is only sold in Japan.
The smartphone comes with powerful photography capabilities and unique features such as eight-phase autofocus, and the main camera is a 1-inch 47.2-megapixel sensor with a 19mm f1/9 equivalent lens. The front camera is 12.6 megapixels and has high-quality selfies and video calling capabilities.
The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip and a 5000mAh battery, and has a 6.6-inch Pro IGZO OLED display. The software adds new Leitz Look and Leica Tones filters, as well as Leitz perspective control and watermark options.
Leitz Phone 3 will be launched in Japan on April 19th.
