Pimax launches new VR headset with swappable optics

Pimax has launched two VR headsets. The Crystal Super model is priced at $1,799 and has 29.5 million pixels, a wide field of view and higher pixels per degree. Another more affordable model, Crystal Light, costs $699, retains 16.6 million pixels, and reduces weight and cost by 30%.

In addition, Pimax also launched a 60G Airlink module priced at US$299, which uses WiGig technology to provide high-bandwidth, wireless PCVR experience. Crystal Super is expected to ship in the fourth quarter, and Crystal Light is available for pre-order and is expected to ship in May.
