German A-class energy-efficiency washing machines increased by 47%

The German washing machine market is ushering in a new change, and Class A energy efficiency is the focus of consumers’ attention.

GFK research shows that energy efficiency plays an increasingly important role for German consumers when purchasing washing machines. Currently, Class A energy-efficiency washing machines are performing the strongest, with market data showing an increase of 47% from January to August.

Washing machines with a capacity of more than 9 kg were also in high demand, growing by 18%. In addition, sales of smart dishwashers, which can set their own programs based on dirt levels, are growing at double-digit rates.
